Procedure

  • Steep specialty grains in 2 gallons of 160 degree water for 30 minutes
  • Bring to a boil
  • Remove from heat and add extract, stir until completely dissolved
  • Bring back to a boil
  • Over the course of the 60 minute boil, add the 3 oz. of Amarillo hops in small increments
  • Cool wort
  • Pitch yeast
